For sale; Wurlitzer model 120 Electronic Piano
$2,000

January 2023

Late 50s-early 60s. Not as heavy as a Fender Rhodes. The legs and the original 2-prong really long power cord stow away in the lid. The threads of the leg screws and screw plates are all in really good condition. The piano is missing the music stand and is also missing the sustain pedal. The on/off switch/volume knob works; the volume knob makes some scratchy noise when turned. The headphone jack works. The pilot light does not work.

The piano amplifier sometimes makes some high, squealy sounds.which go away once the piano warms up. The piano has a low hum which increases with the volume adjustment but which is below the volume of the played instrument. The big power transformer was replaced a couple of years ago.

Key #1, low A, has a 1/4 inch cigarette burn in the top of it next to the black key. Several of the very upper keys have some old Scotch Tape stains or residue resulting in a slight yellowing. All keys work and are in very good tune with the exception of one key which is very slightly flat, as I recall. The overall tune is well good enough to gig with, give a listen to the video demo for confirmation.

On the back of the piano, the power plug and fuse work, and the ext. speaker jack works and puts out quite a bit more volume than the internal speaker. The ''records'' phono jack doesn't output anything but it might actually be a record player input instead. The manufacture info plate is in good, legible condition.

The original black finish is very roadworn and generally scuffed up. The sheet aluminum top is in good condition and not dented up. Three of the four plastic feet are missing. On the whole the piano is very intact and serviceable with a great fat tone and classic appeal.

For sale; Hand-built battery powered pedal board, 20''
$359

January 2023

Hand-built battery powered pedal board. Built with clear polycarbonate top and bottom and hardwood sides, It measures 20'' long x 8'' deep x 2 1/2'' tall including rubber feet and weighs 6 lbs. Dual 9v. 4000 mAh NiMH batteries provide hours of hi-gain fun, each runs 6-7 hours, more than enough power for a long gig. When one battery does start running low, just switch to the other and put it on the charger when you get the time. Onboard digital ammeter/voltmeter lets you know where you stand at all times. Included battery charger stows in the back. Charge either battery and run off either battery at any time, or run off the charger like a DC board. This 20” model board comes with eight un-isolated, common-connection 9v. negative-ground 5.5x2.1mm coax power jacks and will accommodate six standard-width (3 inch) 9v.-only pedals side-by-side, and there's also enough spare room to fit in a couple of ''mini'' pedals across the top, which would the expend the 8 provided power supply jacks.

This pedal board will accommodate 9V-ONLY PEDALS and will not accommodate pedals requiring any other voltage. This board comes with loop-side material applied. Pedal power cables are not included. Pedal patch cables are not included. Positive-ground and/or mini-phone type pedal power plugs like old Cry-Babys or DODs will require special power cables which are readily available so you're still good-to-go!

Eccess voltage disclaimer:

NiMH batteries as provided with this product will issue voltage in excess of 9 volts DC. No responsiblity is assumed by the maker for any damage which may occur to any pedals which customer may choose to attach to this product. In actuality that means this:
The Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH) batteries as here installed charge up to the low-11v. range and will carry 11, 10, then 9 volt operating voltages to the effects pedals on the board. If you don't like to apply these 9+ volt currents to your pedals then don't buy this pedal board. I've used these batteries with my pedals on my identical board for years and never had 1 problem. I don't use any particularly exotic pedals however as far as I know.

I've used:

  • Dunlop Vox GCB-95 Cry Baby
  • Ibanez STL Super Tube
  • Ibanez AD-9 Delay
  • Nu-X Plexi Crunch
  • DOD American Metal
  • Joyo Vintage Overdrive
  • Joyo Vintage Phase
  • EH Bass Big Muff Pi
  • EH Bass Octave Multiplexer
  • Boss GT-1 Digital Multi-effects
  • Boss AW-3 Auto-Wah
  • Boss '63 Fender Reverb
  • Kmise Analog Delay
All without problem.

For sale; Hand-built battery powered pedal board, 18'', used;

Hand-built battery powered pedal board. Built with clear polycarbonate top and bottom and hardwood sides, It measures 18'' long x 8'' deep x 2 1/2'' tall including rubber feet and weighs 6 lbs. Dual 9v. 4500 mAh NiMH batteries provide hours of hi-gain fun, each runs 6-7 hours, more than enough power for a long gig. When one battery does start running low, just switch to the other and put it on the charger when you get the time. Onboard digital ammeter/voltmeter lets you know where you stand at all times. Included battery charger stows in the back. Charge either battery and run off either battery at any time, or run off the charger like a DC board. This 18” model board comes with six un-isolated, common-ground 9v. negative-ground 5.5x2.1mm coax power jacks and will accommodate five standard-width (3 inch) 9v.-only pedals side-by-side, or a lesser number of larger pedals. There's also enough spare room to fit in a ''mini'' pedal across the top. One of the pictures shsows 6 pedals mounted, using all of the provided 6 power jacks. The other layout shown uses 2 standard pedals, the big Boss GT-1, and an amplifier vibrato switch, which necessitqted 2 cables, zip-tied down, running to the amplifier as shown in the last picture. In this latter case the cables stay mounted to the board and are just wrapped up on top.

This pedal board will accommodate 9V.-ONLY PEDALS and will not accommodate pedals requiring any other voltage.

This unit comes with loop-side material applied. Pedal power cables are not included. Pedal patch cables are not included. Positive-ground and/or mini-phone type pedal power plugs like old Cry-Babys or DODs will require special power cables which are readily available so you're still good-to-go! This particular pedalboard was lightly USED for a year or so in a home studio, not gigged. It has a couple of small holes drilled through the upper edge of the top where the output cables were zip-tied to the board.
